October sees loan activity decrease - Total loans decrease by 0,8% compared to September

Total loans of economy, entrepreneurs and population in Serbia at the end of October were about RSD 2,216 billion, which is 0.8% less than in September, the Association of Serbian Banks announced.Loans to companies amounted to app. RSD 1,383 billion and are 1.7% lower than a month before. Total loans of citizens increased by 0.9%, to around RSD 785 billion, and loans to entrepreneurs increased by 0.1% to 46.8 billion.Among the loans to population, the highest growth was for refinancing loans - 4.3%, while cash loans increased by 1.4%. Consumer loans were down by 1.9%. At the end of October, paying 11.2% of total loans was delayed, which is the same as a month before. The share of loans of legal entities in delay increased from 13.2 to 13.3%. Delays of entrepreneurs have also been in delay and total 15.8%, there has been a decrease in delay of citizens’ loans to 7,1%.
