Albanian businessmen are interested in raising residential complexes and shopping malls in serbia. They are interested in industrial zones in certain cities in Vojvodina, but also in the Nis area, where they are looking to open a pellet factory.
– We have recently visited our oil and flour factories together with the Bakers' Union of Albania. We were guests at the Municipality of Zrenjanin – said Vladimir Cuka, president of the Albanian-Serbian business chamber in Albania.
– We are interested in the area of construction, but also in tourism and agriculture.
The first signed international agreements pertain to environmental protection. A mixed company will deal with hazardous industrial waste treatment and oil sludge recycling in Albania.
Modern road and rail routes from Nis to Albanian ports, the construction of which has been announced, should aid the transport of goods to the Albanian market, but also to our consumers, as there are Serbian companies interested in the import of fruit, vegetables and olives from the country. Serbia makes a surplus in its trade with Albania.
We export electricity, medicine and food to Albania, and we import furniture, footwear, clothes and iron from the country.
