No bidders for Bujanovac tobacco factory – Another sale attempt fails

The tender commission for privatization has reported that another attempt at selling Duvanska Industrija Bujanovac has failed, as no bids have been submitted.
The Ministry of Economy put up 57.9% of the assets of the JSC up on sale at the starting price of more than EUR 1 million, which is more than 50% of the value of the property.
Duvanska Industrija Bujanovac, which employs 75 people, has so far been unsuccessfully offered for sale several times. The average salary in DIB equaled RSD 46,000 from June till October.
