Predrag Ivanovic, PhD, a full professor at the University of Montenegro, was born in Danilovgard on 11 October, 1954. He received his primary and secondary education in Podgorica (Titograd) and took his degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica in 1977. He finished the graduate studies at the Faculty of Economics in Beograd, where he also received a doctorate in 1990. In 1978 he started working at the Institute for Social and Economic Research as an assistant lecturer and a research fellow. In 1993 he became assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, and later on associate professor and a full professor.
He performed the duties of Vice Dean for scientific research work as well as the duties of a Head of the Department of Business Economics. He was twice elected a Dean of the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica. From 2001 till 2003 he discharged the duties of the Minister of Education and Science in the Government of the Republic of Montenegro. He was twice elected a Vice President of the University of Montenegro.
As a full professor he taught Strategic Management and Commercial Management at the University of Montenegro. He has published several books and a number of research papers and expert studies.
He is married and has three children.
