Slovenia's Cimos sold to Palladio Finanziaria for EUR 110 million

Slovenia has signed an agreement on the sale of the car industry Cimos from Kopar with the Italian fund Palladio Finanziaria.

The Italian finance fund already owns two car part producers and will pay EUR 110 million for the Kopar company.

CEO Gino Berti said following the signing of the agreement that they would provide EUR 20 million immediately following the completion of the transaction for support and stimulation of modernization, and, according to unofficial information, a capital increase of EUR 50 million is to follow.


He promised that Cimos would soon get new orders, estimated at EUR 240 million.

Cimos employs 5,000 workers in the entire group, of which 2,000 in Slovenia.
