Ezo Group to cooperate with Albanian partners on hazardous industrial waste management in Albania

The environmental protection company Ezo Group from Belgrade signed a Memorandum on founding a joint Serbian-Albanian company for the management of hazardous industrial waste and recycling oil sludge in Albania on Friday, October 14, in Nis.

The president of the Ezo Group, Dragan Stankovic, said that it would be the first Serbian-Albanian company to perform those activities, which are very important for environmental protection.

Stankovic said that the Ezo group would transfer the technology and the equipment from Serbia to Albania, whereas businessman Aleksandar Biberaj, party to the agreement who is to have 30% of the share in the company, would provide the capital and his connections in Albania.

– I expect that this move on our part will encourage other companies from Serbia to shake off their prejudices and venture bravely and to choose hope instead of fear of going bankrupt by participating in the operations of a country once close to us, as there's great potential there, especially in the area of waste – Stankovic emphasized.

He added that he expected the company to be registered in November 2016 and that it would already be working on a job related to cleaning oil tanks before 2016 ended.

Stankovic said that the Ezo Group, headquartered in Belgrade, was already operating in the region and that it already owned a company in Macedonia.

According to him, the Ezo Group deals in hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, industrial cleaning of facilities, recovery following environmental incidents, and has been awarded the Eco Business Partner acknowledgment.
