Unlike the last winter season, Air Serbia will fly to three additional destinations, Hamburg, Larnaca and New York, and the route to Saint Petersburg, introduced this June on a seasonal basis, will be operational between December and January twice a week.
Furthermore, this operator intends to increase the number of flights on a weekly basis by one on routes to Berlin, Tirana and Tel Aviv. As in the past two years, additional flights will be introduced on routes to Amsterdam, Athens, Beirut, Brussels, Copenhagen, Ljubljana, Moscow, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Thessaloniki and Zagreb in the holiday season between mid-December and mid-January.
The route to Podgorica will also get additional flights in the said period. On the other hand, Air Serbia will cancel flights to Warsaw. This line was introduced in may 2014 and was active for a while. However, it is believed that it only served its purpose in the period when the Polish LOT suspended flights to Belgrade due to the restructuring imposed by the EU.
The number of flight on the route to Podgorica will also be reduced from 21 to 18 a week, but it is believed that this is a result of the codeshare agreement made with Montenegro Airlines, Wisebroker reports.
