Nelly chocolates in Russian stores – Loznica factory opening new production line
Comments
The Loznica-based confectionery factory Nelly announces big plans. Compared to the current year, Nelly will, according to projections, have a growth of as much as 30%, which will be contributed to by the opening of a new chocolate factory, which will introduce 30 new chocolates to the market in late 2016 and early 2017, Loznicke Novosti writes.
– We have been working on the project for the past six months and we will soon have the most modern chocolate production line. We will have chocolates of 5, 20, 80, 100, 250 and 300 grams, with broken and whole nuts, rice, cookies, mixed fruits... The process involves entering the recipe in the computer and getting a finished product at the end of the line. Our citizens will be able to make sure of the top quality of the new products in late 2016 – says Mitar Obradovic, the company's owner.
A new distribution center will be raised, which will be able to take around 50 trucks full of finished products of Nelly, Mile Prom and printing stores. This way, space will be freed at the factory for the second line to be installed, parallel to the first one, for the production of choco bananas. The new line will produce 500 kilograms of 100 g chocolates an hour.
Nelly products are also exported. Russian store chains like Monetka, X5 or Magnit are either already offering Loznica confectionery to their customers or will start doing so soon.
– For Magnit, which already has 10.5 thousand stores, we are already working under their Lucky Days brand and export around three and half truckloads a month. We are negotiating with X5, which has 8,000 retail stores, and we have signed an agreement with Monetka, which has 800 stores and we will export Kids chocolates to them – Obradovic says.
