Citroen presentation held – New C3 model in Serbia in March 2017

Members of the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce held a monthly meeting on September 22 at the premises of Avtonova Kab, the official distributor of the Citroen brand in Serbia, and a presentation of Citroen vehicles was also organized on this occasion.

Members of the Chamber were welcomed by Vice President Eric Grasser, who briefly presented the association's activities and welcomed the new member, the French company Socomec, which distributes electrical charging equipment. Grasser also announced the French Week, to be held from September 17 till 24.

The guests were addressed by Viktor Naskovski, general manager of Avtonova Kab, who reminded that the company, which had been operating in the Macedonian market for 20 years, had been the distributor of Citroen vehicles in Macedonia since 2003. It has represented the same brand in Serbia since 2014, when it expanded to the markets in Montenegro and Albania as well.

Zoran Buric, marketing director and spokesman, pointed out that Citroen, one of the leading vehicle brands, which would soon celebrate a century of existence, was one of the most popular French brands in the world. Avtonova Kab also distributes Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Jeep brands in Macedonia.

Among Citroen's most attractive models is C4 Cactus, which was pronounced the car of the year in Serbia in 2015 and which has won more than 50 awards throughout the world for design, interior and new engines. In addition to C4, C Elysee was presented, which was the best selling Citroen model in the Serbian market in 2015. Aside from Citroen, the models of the DS brand can also be found at the store, including DS3 and DS4 and headed by the famous DS5, the model owned and used by the French president.

Marketing Director Zoran Buric announced that a new C3 model would be presented exclusively at the Paris exhibition ten days from then and that the vehicle was expected to premiere in Serbia in March 2017.

The business premises of Avtonove Kab – Citroen in Cukarica, which takes up an area of 10,000 m2, opened nine years ago and is one of the most beautiful Citroen stores in Europe.
