Unique opportunity for software testers – First regional conference of test engineers in Ljubljana on October 13 and 14

The first conference of the testing community, called DevOps and Testing, will be held in Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana on October 13 and 14, announced the company Comtrade.

The DevOps and Testing conference will provide an excellent opportunity for those who work in software testing, software security and software quality to share opinions, present their projects and keep up with the latest developments in the area.

It is expected that this two-day event will bring together more than 200 test engineers, test leaders quality control managers and other key experts from the Adriatic region and the DACH countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Ireland and Great Britain.

The conference will cover a wide array of topics, including agile methods in testing, DevOps, automatized testing, providing security and quality. Various experts will take the stage in order to share their experience and knowledge in this areas and discuss the latest innovations and trends.

(Nikola Sopar) – The purpose of DevOps is to break the barriers between, Dev, Test and Ops groups through automatization. I will focus in my speech on the challenges of continual testing and integrating automatic testing into DevOps – said Joan Wrabitz, CTO of Quali, who will join the speakers.

Confirmed speakers include Colin O'Brien, head of the quality assurance department at Ryanair Labs, Finn Lorber, quality expert at ThoughtWorks, and Milan Gabor, founder and CEO of Viris.

A round table called “How to ensure a good quality in projects of Digital Transformation?” will be held as part of the conference, which will provide technical managers with a chance to meet and talk about current topics, challenges, strategies and possibilities. The conference will give an opportunity to the delegates to have discussions at the joint event at the Club CD.
