Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Branislav Nedimovic and Ambassador of France to Belgrade Christine Moro estimated on Tuesday, September 6, that there was interest in joint investments in livestock production and genetic improvement of animal husbandry.

Nedimovic and Moro concluded that it was in the mutual interest of both sides to stimulate producers and companies to more intensively take part in agricultural fairs in Serbia and France, thereby contributing to drawing investors, it was reported after the meeting.

They also estimated that the institutional cooperation was very intensive, as confirmed by the level of French investments in Serbia's agribusiness, the Ministry reported.

Moro pointed out the high level of French investments in Serbia, as well as the cooperation in sharing experiences of French experts within Serbia's EU integration process.

Another topic of the conversation was the cooperation in the area of environmental protection. Moro praised the Serbian side for taking part in the negotiations related to the Paris Agreement on fighting climate changes.
