City of Belgrade to sign contract with "Minel-Schreder" on procurement of 15,000 lamps - value of contract is 75,800,250 RSD

Secretariat for Public Utility and Housing Affairs will sign the contract with the factory of lamps ”Minel-Schreder" on the procurement of 15,000 lamps intended for suburban boroughs. The value of the contract is 75,800,250 RSD, and the offered lamps have been tested and approved by the authorized laboratory.

During the previous years, more than 30,000 lamps have been procured and installed in the housing projects, streets, parks and approaches to schools on the territory of ten city boroughs instead of old and damaged ones.

– This program showed good results and, since there is a need for the public lighting system in all parts of the city, including suburban boroughs, to be raised to the level stipulated by the latest European and world standards, the city decided to resume procurement of these lamps in 2008 – said Aleksandra Novaković, the Head of the Energy Administration of the Secretariat for Public Utility and Housing Affairs.
