Soon: Wine cellar "Aleksandrović" to launch champagne "Trijumf"
Wine cellar "Aleksandrović" will start production of the first champagne on local market in 2009. This champagne, named “Trijumf” will be manufactured according to the classical method (champagnization). This was announced yesterday (February 7, 2008) by the owner of wine cellar, Božidar Aleksandrović, at the Brand Fair 4 in Belgrade.
Wine cellar "Aleksandrović" has the tradition several decades long. This company got the original recipe for "Trijumf", which was the common drink at almost all European courts before the World War II, from famous court wine cellar worker Živan Tadić. By the way, Tadić emigrated to Canada after the World War II.
Today, Wine cellar "Aleksandrović" has 40 ha of vineyards, which are planted with high-quality sorts of grape and, according to the words of Boža Aleksandrović, the company plans to plant new vineyard on 8.5 ha in April 2008.
- Because of their quality, our wines found their way to the markets of USA, Germany and Switzerland. Eminent Swiss magazine “Vinim” marked Wine cellar "Aleksandrović" as "the leader of the new wave of viticulture in east Europe" – said "Aleksandrović" and added that that company would exhibit its products at the trade fair in Dieseldorf, between March 16 and 18, 2008.
