Prime Minister-designate Aleksandar Vucic stated on Wednesday, August 10, that Russia would approve the import of Fiat 500 cars produced in Kragujevac. He said that Serbia would be visited in autumn by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and that Serbia would get an opportunity to export cars from Kragujevac.
– Medvedel will come here, that's not a problem. We have more Fiat producers, we have 3,000 people working as Fiat suppliers – Vucic said.
He also said that Serbia hadn't managed to secure the export of milk and dairy products to the Russian market, but that the issue would be solved before Medvedev arrives, the local media report.
– It's true that our net export isn't big. This is why we don't understand why TV stations create gross export tables, instead of those indicating the net export. Besides, no one in Serbia is interested in the matter – he added.
