Vucic announces purchase of new helicopters for Serbian Armed Forces

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic announced the purchase of new helicopters of German-French make.

During his tour of Rastko Nemanjic barracks in Pancevo, Vucic said that the army would be provided with the best training and equipment possible.

– Everyone will get the best bulletproof vests, rifles, day and night rifle scopes – Vucic said and added that he had also talked about increased usage of drones, which would be armed in a year.

He announced the purchase of new helicopters of German-French make, in order to provide a transport solution for the army, after which the purchase of combat helicopters would be considered.

Vucic announced the continuation of the cooperation with Russia, but also with China, to that end, and added that the boat used by the Special Brigade had also been donated by the Chinese.
