Bavaria Motors becomes representative of Jaguar in Serbia – Authorization received from the Scotland Yard
Mijailovic competed against the companies owned by Mladen Grujic (Kompresor), Brena and Boba Zivojinovic (Grand Motors) and one of the richest Serbs Miroslav Miskovic (Delta Auto). He has invested several million euros in order for the future sales and service center to meet all the criteria of the premium brand of Jaguar-Land Rover (JRL).
A modern sales center will open on August 1 on Zrenjanin Road in Belgrade, the construction of which is being finalized at the moment on a 11,000 m2 plot of land. The structure will take up an area of 3,200 m2 and 50 workers will be employed at the center.
However, the most interesting aspect of the story concerns the need for the authorization by the Scotland Yard for this job. As Novosti finds out, the British leave nothing to chance. They rate their automotive industry very highly and won't let any irregularities or controversies to be associated with their brands.
- The Scotland Yard had inspected the operations of the business in detail, but also the future managers, and it was only after they had determined that there were no obstacles that the management of JRL signed the agreement with Mijailovic.
By the end of 2016, they plan to premiere three new models, and JRL plans to launch a total of 12 new models by 2020.
