Opening of the Belgrade-Pristina airline possible
Following the talks with the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama in Paris, Vucic stated that, according to the statistics, a large number of passengers on the first Belgrade-New York flights was coming from Kosovo and Albania.
He emphasized that the opening of a new airline to Pristina would significantly increase that number, which would help Belgrade become the regional center, it was reported by the Government of Serbia following the meeting between Vucic and Rama.
Vucic talked to Edi Rama about the strengthening of the economic relations between the two countries, the Serbia-Albania business forum and the participation of Serbian civil engineers in infrastructural projects on the Albanian coast.
There was also talk about strengthening the Belgrade-Tirana airline. A meeting between the political and economic elites of the two countries was agreed and the importance of the construction of the Nis-Pristina highway was emphasized, announced the Government of Serbia.
- We will work on improving the relations between Serbia and Albania as much as possible to the end of maintaining stability in the region, but also due to economic interests of our citizens – said Vucic and pointed out that Serbia had a surplus in trade cooperation with the countries of the region and that this had to be the foundation for the strengthening of both political and economic relations.
