Kosmos from Banjaluka, once an industry giant, may see better days if the realization of the agreement on the repair of Serbian Armed Forces' rocket systems starts.

As Dusan Vjestica, acting director of Kosmos, had a meeting on June 24 and 25 with the representatives of SAF, during which a mutual agreement was reached that Kosmos will carry out the repair of a part of their rocket systems.

- What remains now is for them to put all the procedures into motion and then we can sign the agreement – said Vjestica.

As he said, this job will bring a minimum of EUR 250,000 annually, which is a significant amount of money, but still insufficient for the enterprise to operate smoothly.

- Our projection of normal activities is EUR 3-3.5 a year and even though the situation is difficult, I think we can succeed – says Vjestica optimistically.

In addition to the agreement with SAF, there are possible agreements with Zrak from Teslic, which will be sending all the parts which require galvanizing to Kosmos.

- The biggest project is the signing of the memorandum on business and technical cooperation, about which I'd rather not talk publicly at the moment, but I'm sure that it will be supported by the state – said Vjestica.
