EPS selling two Audis and buying all-terrain vehicles for workers – Sale of additional 1,000 cars planned
- EPS honors the Government’s measures for reducing expenses and the rational use of the company’s vehicles. The money from the sale of the two Audis will be used to buy all-terrain vehicles for EPS workers who have to work in bad weather conditions, in heat and frost, at cuts, in electric plants and distribution centers in hard conditions, so that all households and businesses in Serbia can have electric energy – said Grcic.
Grcic added that “it wasn’t fair that someone should drive expensive Audis while terrain workers have nothing to do their job with. The introduction of these rules and procedures is the only way to put a stop to rolling stock thefts and wrongdoings”.
According to his suggestion, the standardization and unifying of official cars at the level of the entire company should follow, and the limit on the engine capacity of cars has already been implemented.
EPS has already started rationalizing its rolling stock, and the first 99 cars were put on sale last week. The assets earned from the sale of vehicles and the rationalization of the use of vehicles will be put into procuring all-terrain vehicles. In the next 12 months, EPS plans to sell 1,000 cars and save RSD 300 million that way.
