(Miodrag Kostic) Serbian businessman Miodrag Kostic is interested in Portoroz Airport, informs Slovenian portal Finance. The majority owners of Portoroz Airport are preparing for a new sale attempt, and it's almost certain that they would like to sell their share to Ljubljana Airport, Istrabenz and Port of Koper.

Kostic has previously shown to be interested in making this investment. He said that it all depended on the agreement with the mayor of Piran Peter Bossman, that is, the local self-government.

- Portoroz has the potential for further development and the increase in the number of tourists. We desire the development of the airport and the marina in order for Portoroz to become a kind of a new Cannes. This is how we see its future. Our goal is to promote Portoroz as a top category destination, which is why it is in our interest to increase the number of flights and for Portoroz Marina to operate at full capacity – said MK Group.

Kostic bought the hotel Kempinski in this Slovenian tourist spot in September 2015.
