NIS – the best corporate brand in 2007
The best corporate brand in 2007 is Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS), while the best trademark is carbonated water "Knjaz Miloš". This was announced on Friday (December 21, 2007) by the organizers of the contest – Ministry of Trade and Services of Serbia and economic daily newspaper "Pregled".
Minister of Trade and Services of Serbia, Predrag Bubalo, said on the awarding night that that manifestation was organized for the fourth time and he added that the task of the country was to create good ambience for business activities, while everything else was up to the companies.
Bubalo, who was also the president of the jury, said that it was important to evaluate corporations and profits, while finding of the best products should be left to the consumers.
The second award for the corporate brand was won by company "Agroživ" from Pančevo, the third award went to "Grand prom" from Belgrade, while Military Medical Academy (VMA) from Belgrade won the special award in that category. The second award for the trademark went to "Soko Nada Štark" for "smoki", while "Dijamant’s" margarine "Dobro jutro" won the third award.
The awards for the best foreign brands were won by "Messer Tehnogas", OMV, "Henkel Merima", "Carlsberg Srbija" and Raiffeisen bank. The criteria were the level of investments, number of employees and partnership with domestic companies.
The best brands in service sector are "Jat Airways", "Pink media group", the Novi Sad Fair, DDOR "Novi Sad" and Komercijalna banka.
Laureates of “Best from Serbia” awards are "Fruvita" - Belgrade, “Vital” - Vrbas, "Sojaprotein" from Bečej, “Poljoprivredni kombinat Beograd”, "Albus" Novi Sad, "Yu glob" Belgrade, "Dunav osiguranje", Belgrade-based "Forma ideale", "Dallas" from Tutin, OSA Computer Engineering Belgrade, "Džip komerc" and “Vujić Valjevo”. Among the laureates are also "Trudbenik", “Jaffa”, "Carlsberg Čelarevo", "Galeb group" Šabac, "Ikarbus”, "Beksing" Belgrade, "Zekstra group”, "Bane" Sombor, "Garden center”, “Jat Catering”, “Interfiš“ Niš and "RB Global" from Užice.
