"Ikarbus" exports 350 buses to Dubai – 27m EUR

Belgrade-based "Ikarbus" has signed contract on export of 350 city buses to Dubai. That company confirmed that the total value of the deal was 27m EUR.

According to the contract with company "Hemington" from United Arabian Emirates, production of buses will be partially completed in "Ikarbus", while transmission, engines, windows and seats will be built in later by the buyer.

The first buses will be sent to Dubai in February, and the export should be completed in September 2008. As people from "Ikarbus" point out, production in that company will be organized in two shift because of that contract and other contracted obligations.
