American actor Robert de Niro is planning to open a luxury hotel in London, the famous actor announced yesterday on the social networks. If construction permit is approved, De Niro will build the "Wellington" hotel with 83 rooms and a spa and two restaurants in central London, Covent Garden.

- London is one of the most exciting cities in the world and it is logical to build a hotel at the heart of the city - a 72 -year-old actor added, a double Oscar winner for "Godfather 2" and "Raging Bull."

De Niro said that if all goes as planned, the hotel could be completed by the end of 2019.
