Comments
US company IBM will open its new Technical
Support Center in Croatia, although Slovenia and Slovakia were still in the
game, according to Slovenian media. They state that the Croatian government offered
investors better conditions for investment, while Slovenian side in negotiations
claimed that it offers the same conditions to all foreign investors.
IBM Technical Support Center is a project that actually implies concentration and transfer of such services from Germany, Italy and other Western European countries to the east, where there is skilled labor force but labor cost is lower the main element in negotiations was to obtain tax and other relief.
