Approval for export of 5.000 "Fiat 500l" vehicles to Russia
"Fiat 500L” as well as "500" and "punto" could be available in the Russian car dealerships already this year. According to the sources from the Russian government, there has been a definite agreement of the Eurasian Economic Association and Serbia on export of Kragujevac "Fiat " and exports could be approved as early as in May.
The official approval of import at preferential conditions to Russia should be given at the May summit of the Eurasian Economic Forum which will be held in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan, where, among other things, the issue of free trade with Serbia will be considered.
Russian media state reciprocal import of about 5,000 vehicles per year should be approved, which means Russian cars could be imported free of charge to Serbia.
According to the sources of the Russian government, two task groups will be set up to coordinate this issue - one from Serbia and one which will comprise of representatives of the Eurasian Economic Union.
