Agricultural company Sava Kovačević-Vrbas obtained 300 steonih junica, budući reprodukcioni centar za celu Jugoistočnu Evropu

Agricultural company "Sava Kovačević" from Vrbas obtained 300 pregnant cows of two famous races, which were imported from Netherlands. Total value of the project amounts to € 350,000, which includes cattle, as well as additional equipment required by breeding process. The farm now has around 800 milking cows.

Recently started cooperation with the Dutch expects that Vrbas' company become reproductive center for further sale of this and other races of cows in our country, as well as in entire southeast Europe. This agricultural company has its own diary, so that the new cows will contribute to the dairy production growth.

This combine holds property over cultivated fields of about 5,000 ha, 2,000 ha of which is covered with irrigation system, with complete infrastructure, which includes in-built pumping stations and related equipment. The part of the company is dairy of capacity of 7,000 liters on daily basis.
