Italians seek welders, locksmiths and lacquerers - Tecnostrutture to hire 30 workers in Zrenjanin

Italy's Tecnostrutture, which builds production facilities in the Zrenjanin industrial zone Ecka-Jugoistok, is already interviewing candidates to choose who to hire in their factory in Zrenjanin. As it was announced earlier, the new Italian investor is going to employ about thirty workers already in the first round, and they are looking for experienced locksmiths, welders, operators of CNC machines and lacquerers. This family firm, with a tradition spanning more than four decades, is engaged in the manufacture of steel structures for bridges, airports, large shopping centers, industrial and other facilities, and the factory in Zrenjanin is going to expand their total production for the European market.

- A total of 150 candidates have applied for a job at the factory so far, and we have shortlisted about forty of them who have already had an interview with Stefano Verna, the owner and director of the company. Most of the candidates are older than 35. Verna is coming to Zrenjanin again to meet the job candidates in person, so it is still possible to apply via email to [email protected] – Marija Laketic Ljevar, a coordinator for Serbia, says to the daily Dnevnik and adds that job applications will be accepted until May 20th.

Production in facilities in Zrenjanin is expected to commence in late June or early July, and future workers must complete an expert training beforehand, a part of which will be organized in Serbia as well. However, the most important section of the training will take place in Italy and involve the use of machines that will later be used in production in Zrenjanin.

A total value of Tecnostrutture's investment in the city on the Begej River is EUR 3.5 million.
