Pirot to produce wooden toys for IKEA - Bulgarian Irely opens department in the south of Serbia

The City of Pirot and Bulgarian Irely which has been manufacturing goods for Ikea for year, signed a memorandum on cooperation with the world famous company. This practically means the neighboring company will, by the end of June, at the lot in the industrial zone in Pirot, build a plant for production of toys made of beech. The facility with equipment of one million euros, for a start, twenty young carpenter and later 90 more will work.

Ivan Ivanov, the owner of Bulgarian company says it already has two plants in Pazardjik and Montata with 500 workers who receive very solid earnings and on time of course.. Pirot, as the headquarters of the third department was not randomly chosen and besides classic kids’ toys, it will produce playgrounds with wooden elements.

- While other cities give away land, Irely decided to buy a lot in the industrial zone because it estimated the investment will pay off – Vasic says.

Irely is the only European manufacturer of wooden toys for IKEA.
