June 2005, Serbia – According to researches of Strategic marketing - radio Pink and B92 made the biggest progress
Popularity of radio stations in Serbia increased by 10% in comparison with 2004 – this is the result of the research carried out on the territory of Republic of Serbia by "Strategic marketing" last month. The radio stations that increased their popularity the most are Radio Pink and B92, whereas Radio 202, JAT and Studio B lost one part of their audience. The radio with the biggest audience is the First Programme of Radio Beograd. It is followed by Radio B92, Pink, S and 202.
Pink’s audience increased by 40%, while B92’ popularity rose by 20%. Radio S improved the results for some 7%. Radio 021 from Novi Sad recorded the biggest fall in popularity (55%). It is followed by Studio B (48%) and JAT (40%). The first programme of Radio Beograd was listened to by 8% less citizens. Popularity research showed that popularity of Radio Beograd 1 is decreasing and that big battle is fought over the second place between B92 and Radio S. The prognosis shows that Radio S will soon lose the second place. Radio Pink is on the fourth position, while Radio 100 is the fifth.
Radio is mainly listened to in the morning and in the afternoon, whereas the point when television beats radio is moved from 1.15 PM to 2.30 PM. Radio "grew up" and recovered a little after period of constant fall.
