Ten years of operations without electricity and cables - Pozarevac-based Digital Logic produces revolutionary NFC reader

Pozarevac-based Digital Logic , one of the finalists for this year's award for the Investment of the Year "Aurea", is working on production of new NFC readers which they have already sold to some clients abroad. It is a revolutionary product which will be able operate 10 years without electricity and without a single cable.

-You can stick this NFC reader to glass or put it on the door and then users, through their mobile phones or cards, can register, and that all that is wirelessly transmitted to desired server .This is a very interesting product on which we are working for a long time and we believe it will be extremely popular when we start with the official selling abroad.

-We have already sold it to some clients abroad with which we cooperate based on trust. They will test the product and give us feedback so we can refine it further - Zoran Rajcic , owner of Digital Logic said for eKapija.

Rajcic says product is finished and is undergoing test stage but as new technologies are coming, they want implement them and thus improve the reader.

- At a time when we were developing this product called TWR or total wireless reader" we had RF communication distance of about 100 meters in the open and today we use chips with which we communicate on up to 15 km in optical visibility or 5 km in urban center. The objective is that the device remains at a low level of electricity consumption which would be something incredible – a collocutor of eKapija says.

Namely their multi-functional contact-less reader is for reading 2DQR codes, NFC cards and tags as well as NFC phones The reader has already been used in Serbia at bus stations and swimming pools.

- I am pleased this product is accepted in Serbia because we achieved what we wanted. We succeeded in the fact that customers or users do not think about it, when they near a cell phone if it is QR code on it , whether it is NFC, whether they have a card or printed bar code.

Older users also accepted it which is a great success for us – Rajcic says.

Our colloctor adds the interest of foreign markets is very intensive and that suggestions of foreign clients influenced this product.

This product brought them a nomination for Aurea award as well as a special "Diskobolos” award. .

- In November this year we are celebrating jubilee – 50th anniversary. With these awards, we'll just get a new ignition for further progress - Zoran Rajcic said. Rajcic added he hopes a multi-functional reader will be available for sale later this year or in early 2017 latest.
