"Holiday Inn" opened - price of overnight stay ranges between 80 and 220 EUR
- "Holiday Inn" hotel, a member of international hotel chain "Intercontinental", worth 25m EUR, has been opened in Belgrade - the hotel representatives announced.
Hotel representative Aleksandar Špagnut said at the press conference that the construction of one more hotel in Belgrade was in the pipeline, but he could not specify when the works would start since the project was still in the planning phase.
He said that it was the first time after 18 years that some internationally recognizable trademark, such as "Intercontinental hotel group", opened hotel in Serbia. "Holiday Inn" hotels are already present in Skopje, Sarajevo and Zagreb.
Hotel manager Tomas Pavlović said that the new exterior of the hotel was being designed and that it would be applied in March 2008. He said that the hotel had 140 rooms and seven conference and banquet halls, while the price of overnight stay ranges between 80 and 220 EUR, depending on the season.
According to announcements, hotel "Holiday Inn" will be the home to Eurosong performers next year.
