AIK bank purchases debt of Beohemija - Miodrag Kostic steps into chemical industry

(Miodrag Kostic) Bank, owned by Miodrag Kostic, purchased EUR 10 million of debt at Beohemija, which is owned by an accused businessman Zeljko Zunic.

As Blic finds out, it was the sum of the loan Zunic could no longer pay. This transaction is not unusual for a bank but since it is part of the MK group business system, debt will likely be converted into equity, which means Kostic could become owner of stocks at Beohemija.

This practically means Kostic is expanding his business empire to chemical industry as well.

Exerts are not surprised with this outcome between Zunic - Kostic .

AIK bank declined to comment findings of Blic because it is "against the law to discuss relationship between the client and the bank". Zunic did not answer his phone.
