Mlekara Sabac dairy sold for RSD 950 million

Mlekara Sabac in bankruptcy, a dairy owned by the Farmakom MB company, was sold Tuesday (29 March 2016) to Sabac-based Mi Finance for RSD 950 million, the Court of Commerce in Valjevo has announced in a release.
The second best bidder was the Swiss company Bernd Matthias Dietel that offered RSD 50 million less than Mi Finance. Imlek from Belgrade too participated in the public auction on Tuesday.

The starting price of Mlekara Sabac was set at about RSD 792.6 million.

The Court of Commerce in Valjevo initiated bankruptcy proceedings against the Mlekara Sabac dairy on 2 March 2015 due to permanent insolvency of the company, at the proposal of the U.S. company International Finance Corporation.
