Underground gas storage "Banatski Dvor" to be ready before autumn 2008

Minister of Energy, Aleksandar Popović, announced that underground gas storage "Banatski Dvor" in Town Hall of Žitište would be ready for use before autumn 2008.

According to his words, the funds for completion of the gas storage will be obtained from international financial organizations or strategic partner.

He reminded that underground storage "Banatski Dvor" was currently the most significant investment in gas sector in Serbia. Its totaly annual capacity is 800m cubic meters of natural gas.
