Construction of toll station at Vrcin starts

On the highway near Belgrade, the construction of toll station "Vrcin" which will be used after relocation of the ramp at Bubanj Potok, where the first Swedish Ikea department store will be located, has started today andacting head at Putevi Srbije, Zoran Drobnjak said that new toll station will have greater facility.

Drobnjak told to reporters that the works will end by 15 October and that they total RSD 2.1 billion dinars.

The new toll station “Vrcin" will have 23 lanes for fee collection, 12 of which will be for electronic toll collection, Drobnjak said and reminded reporters that the toll station "Bubanj Potok " has 15 lanes.

The works are carried out by Austrian Strabag together with Vojvodina put from Pancevo and PZP Zajecar.

Drobnjak said the works will not affect normal traffic flow even during the summer months.
