The Ministry of Energy and Mining of Serbia has announced in a release that they are currently processing all complaints lodged by clients about the decision made by the competent ministry on 13 November 2015 to reject all the requests for acquiring the status of a temporary privileged producer, that is, the status of a privileged producer for solar power plants with a capacity of up to 30kW, which were submitted in the period between March 16 and September 9, 2015.
According to the release, only after all complaints are processed will the requests submitted later be taken into consideration, and all those interested in acquiring the status of a temporary privileged power producer, that is, the status of a privileged producer for solar power plants with an installed capacity of 30 to 500 kilowatts must bear in mind that any capacity that is freed because of the failure to acquire the status of a privileged power producer on time can only be reallocated in case special regulations are promulgated on the basis of Article 7a of the Regulation on conditions and procedure for acquiring the status of a privileged producer of electrical power.
Given that such regulations have not been passed yet, all requests are rejected as unfounded due to a lack of available capacity.
