Vote for Investment of the Year in Serbia - We present you Aurea 2016 Award finalists

In late March, for the eighth time, eKapija business portal will present the Aurea Award for the investment of the year in Serbia.

A short list for this year`s award comprises 8 projects which ranked the best in line with 3 criteria - innovation, social utility and financial potential, and the visitors of aurea.rs portal will participate in the selection of award winners through internet voting.

Aurea 2016 Award finalists are:

- Ladjar transport – Manufacturing Plant for Coal Briquettes in Ub,

- MK Fintel Wind – Kula Wind Farm,

- Euroheat – Production of Plate and Shell Heat Exchangers,

- Knauf Insulation – Implementation of ECOSE Technology in Rock Mineral Wool Production,

- ProCredit Bank – Self-Service Areas 24/7,

- Digital Logic – Multifunctional NFC 2DQR Barcode Reader,

- Agrogrnja - Silo-Port Beocin, and

- Hemofarm – Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Voting at the official webpage will last until March 23 and final decision on the Aurea 2016 winner will be made by an expert and objective jury. This year`s jury members are: Natasa Kecman, the head of the Center for Services and Mediation in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Ana Firtel, Foreign Investors Council, Dr Dejan Eric, the Belgrade Banking Academy, SGS Beograd Director Marinko Ukropina, Vojin Senk, a professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, Dusan Tomic, a partner at KPMG, and Vladimir Medan, a professor at the Belgrade Banking Academy.

Apart from the main award, eKapija will also deliver two special awards: for innovation and social utility.

Zdravko Loncar, CEO of eKapija, said that eight finalists were selected out of more than 30 competitive projects nominated for the Aurea Award this year.

- We had a number of quality nominations and it was difficult to single only eight out so I think the jury will have a difficult task to choose winners. Obviously, businessmen, regardless of bad investment environment in the country and the region, are still ready to invest in quality projects which are, as a rule, featured by innovation as well as responsibility for environment and community. Aurea Award was designed to promote these kinds of projects and these values since they are a recipe for progress and sustainable development of our country. I am inviting readers to take an active part through voting at at our website at aurea.rs and support the jury in decision-making process and at the same time support these important projects.

Who of this year’s finalists will win the Aurea Investment of the Year Award will be known March 30.
