Podravka registers 7.8% revenue growth in 2015

The main characteristic of the Podravka Group's business results in 2015, which has been determined at a session of the Managing Board and the Supervisory Board of Podravka DD, is the realization of record net profit, the company announced in a release.

Podravka's net profit in 2015 amounted to HRK 398 million (about EUR 52.3 million), which represent a significant growth compared with 2014 when the net profit was at HRK 92.5 million (about EUR 12 million). This record growth of net profit is partially a result of positive effect of the acquisition of Slovenia's Zito and registered tax revenues associated with incentives granted for the construction of new Belupa factories.

The sales revenue of the Podravka Group grew 7.8% in 2015, to HRK 3,777.2 million (about EUR 495.9 million).
