A company from Turkey will be the first to open a production facility in the former furniture factory Inova in Kokin Brod, which that municipality bought from the owner, regenerated the space and now rents it out to businessmen. According to Dimitrije Paunovic, the chief of the Zlatibor District, this company from Istanbul is interested in investing EUR 3 million in the organization of laminate flooring production on an area of 10,500 square meters, which is a third of the space available in the former furniture factory.

The two sides are currently negotiating the details of an agreement that will free the Turkish company from paying the rent if they hire 140 workers this and next year, but the rent will also be increased by 3,500 euro per each worker they fail to employ.
