Azerbaijani company Azvirt interested in building bypass around Belgrade

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic spoke Thursday (11 February 2016) with Azerbaijani Ambassador Eldar Hasanov who informed the minister that the work on Ljig-Preljina highway stretch on Corridor XI was going as planned.

Mihajlovic and Hasanov also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in other infrastructure projects, including the construction of bypass around Belgrade, in which the Azerbaijani company Azvirt expressed interest on some earlier occasion.

Mihajlovic also pointed to projects Pojate-Preljina, Belgrade-Zrenjanin and Novi Sad Ruma, which Serbia plans to implement in the following period, it is said in a release.
