Over 1,150 exhibitors from 55 countries - "Where Have You Not Been Yet?" Tourism Fair between February 18 and 21

The 38th International Tourism Fair will be held between February 18 and 21 at the Belgrade Fair under the slogan "Where Have You Not Been Yet?", and the country partner of this year's event is Slovenia.

Serbian Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Minister Rasim Ljajic told a press conference that the 2016 Tourism Fair would attract a record number of exhibitors - more than 1,150 from 55 countries.

- There will also be exhibitors from two new countries at the fair, Namibia and Malaysia. We also expect a record number of visitors. Last year, the fair attracted 70,000 people, while this year we expect at least 75,000 - said Ljajic.

According to him, the number of local tourist organization that are going to present their tourist potential will also be a record high - in excess of 140.

Ljajic said that the Tourism Fair in Belgrade was the most significant in southeast Europe and among the top seven in Europe, adding that it managed to maintain the standards set prior to global financial crisis.
