One of the most famous archaeological sites in Mexico, which attracts two million tourists every year, plans to impose a special fee for taking selfies at the site.

For a long time, Tulum has been one of the greatest tourist attractions of Mexico. It was at its peak in the period between 13th and 15th century, and it even managed to resist assaults by Spanish Conquistadors for as many as 70 years.

However, the diseases brought from Europe spread through the city and devastated it in no time. Therefore, Mexican authorities decided to start charging tourists for taking selfies in this city to make more money.
