2015 saw Gazprom increasing gas deliveries to Serbia by 23%

During 2015 Russian energy giant, Gazprom, delivered to Serbia 1,7 billion cubic meters of gas which is , 23,6% more compared to previous year, preliminary data showed.

The data were communicated after the meeting of the executive manager at Gazprom, Alexey Miller and the ambassador of Serbia in Russia, Slavenko Terzic, Russian Agency Tass reported.

At the meeting of Miller and Terzic, a special attention was paid to underground gas storage Banatski dvor and its role in providing reliability in Russian gas delivery in Serbia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gazprom communicated.

The company outlined that 100% capacity of the storage has been provided totaling 450 million cubic meters of gas for the fall-winter 2015/2016.

Participants of the meeting discussed the options for Banatski dvor gas storage expansion in line with the memorandum of supplying which in 2015 was signed by Gazprom and Srbijagas, Russian giant announced.
