Air Serbia may lose right to fly in Croatia
Serbia's flag carrier Air Serbia might lose the right to fly in Croatia if it continues to ignore the infringement procedure against it at the Croatian Transportation Ministry, the daily Jutarnji List reports.
Unofficially, representatives of the Croatian government told Air Serbia leaders that they were clearly showing disrespect for the Croatian state by not coming to scheduled hearings, adding that that could cost them the license.
Jutarnji List reminds that the Civil Aviation Agency launched an infringement procedure against the Serbian flag carrier in 2015 for the breach of bilateral air traffic agreement between Croatia and Serbia because Serbia has not yet met the provisions of the Agreement on Establishment of European Common Air Traffic that it signed with the EU as an associated country.
Air Serbia currently operates flights to Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik and Pula, and it also negotiates the launch of regular service to Zadar.
