Shortage of dentists in Britain - with screwdriver against plaque

According to certain research, due to insufficient number of dentists in the government sector, some Englishmen are forced to pull out their teeth, remove plaque using screwdriver and glue their tooth crowns with superglue by themselves.

- I pulled out 14 teeth by myself using pliers - said one of the polled.

- I pulled out one tooth by myself. It is easier than to find dentist - said the other.

- I filled one of my teeth with glue - one of the participants in the research admitted.

The other said that he had glued his tooth crown with superglue, while the third said that he had used screwdriver to remove his plaque. The poll, which included 5,212 people in England, showed that 6% of the polled treat themselves, since they are not able to find public dentist.

There are about 20,000 public dentists in Britain and growing number of people turn to private sector where they receive treatment at much higher price.
