In the next 5 years, Yura will not be allowed to decrease employees with open-end contracts at the existing capacities in Leskovac where there are 1.515 of them at the moment but they will have to hire 700 new in the next year, it was announced today at the City council.

These are the most important commitments from the contract on alienation of publicly-owned construction land through direct deal without paying fee. It is property of former Jugexspres which the city of Leskovac bought so that Yura would build a new production department.

The mayor, Goran Cvetanovic, outlined that negotiation with company representatives were difficult but that local authorities succeeded in keeping the employees who have already been working since five-year commitments to SIEPA which subsidized these vacancies with EUR 7.000 each expires.

The City of Leskovac acquired property of Jugepskpres for 40 million dinars. Out of total of 7,9 ha, Yura will get 3,9 ha of land.
