First offers from Basler insurance company – protection from risk of repayment of long-term loans, as well as protection of physicists and dentists from risk of mistake
Insurance company "Basler“, a member of Swiss financial institution "Baloise“, will start to offer insurance policies in cooperation with the banks. Potential clients, according to the words of Manager Vladimir Medan, will be able to buy life insurance and real estate insurance policies at the window in the bank, along with the loan.
- The insurance represents reduction of risk of repayment of long-term loans for both banks and clients. By buying life insurance, the client ensures that, in case of early death, "Basler“ will pay the rest of the debt. In case of real estate insurance policy, if the apartment the client took on credit was damaged during the repayment of the mortgage loan, "Basler" would provide money for rehabilitation of the damage – Medan explains.
He did not specify names of the banks with which Basler will cooperate on this project, but he mentioned that that type of insurance would be available to all interested prior to end of October 2007.
Also, this insurance company starts big campaign of promotion of specific products of life and non-life insurance in November. One of these products is professional indemnity insurance for physicists and dentists.
- In the process of treatment of patients, a physicist or dentist can make a mistake and legal procedure can follow. In case patient or somebody else presses charges because of professional mistake or material damage, the insurance premium covers all expenses of the process and lawyer, and if the court finds defendent quilty, insurance premium covers expenses of compensation – Medan points out.
He says that the aim of this campaign is to bring products in accord with the needs of the clients.
