Nine bids for Vrsacki vinogradi - Two large companies from Germany and Slovakia among bidders
By the decision of the Pancevo Court of Commerce, Vrsacki vinogradi has been in bankruptcy since November 26th, and its Bankruptcy Manager Dusan Dragojlovic, appointed by the Agency for Licensing Bankruptcy Managers, has decided to let all workers go until further notice, the daily Novosti reports.
The Vrsacki vinogradi company has definitely caught the attention of some prospective buyers given that the Privatization Agency has so far received nine bids from potential investors. Also, representatives of two multinationals from Germany and Slovakia have visited Vrsac to see for themselves what this company has to offer.
Vrsacki vinogradi went bankrupt despite the efforts of the management to postpone the proceedings for another month in order to use that time to provide money for necessary agricultural works and pruning, in preparation for spring.
