Sale of "Sportstar" scheduled for November 28 - starting price is 779.8m RSD

Privatization Agency announced today (October 8, 2007) tender for sale of factory for production of sports equipment "Sportstar" on public auction, which is scheduled for November 28. Starting price is 779.8m RSD.

Property of "Sportstar" is bought as seen and it can be checked after the purchase of tender documentation, at least seven days before the scheduled auction.

The amount of deposit for participation in the auction is 311,932,600 RSD. Taxes and expenses will be added on the selling price.

Company "Sportstar" used to employ 1,500 workers. That company has been in bankruptcy since November 8, 2001.

This company used to be the only manufacturer of sports equipment in Serbia and a big exporter for whole Europe, especially Germany, Italy, France.
