Saint-Gobain, one of the world's top 100 industrial companies, celebrated the 350th anniversary of its establishment on Friday (27 November 2015) in the building of the Embassy of France in Belgrade.
As the world's largest manufacturer of building materials, Saint-Gobain owns two factories in Serbia, and it also operates through Weber, Rigips, Isover, PAM, Glass and other companies.
The birthday party also saw the announcement of winners of the traditional best interior design contest "Saint-Gobain Rigips Trophy Srbija i Crna Gora 2015". This design contest attracted 48 entries from Serbia and Montenegro, which competed for a total of six awards. This contest promotes our architects and contractors on an international level, and Serbian projects already won international awards on two occasions: Madrid, 2006 - Delta Sport, and London, 2012 – the Museum of Yugoslav Film Archive.
